The previous owners had built a room off of the back of the garage that they had their children living in. (Don’t get me started.) It was full of mold, so that thang had to come on down.
After we’re done renovating the interior of the Main House, we’ll knock down the garage and bring in a prefab unit that’ll be 3 rooms and a 3/4 bath. More on that another day. Back to our regularly scheduled programming…
Before:

HOT.

Scrap metal that we sold (we got about $31):

We made 6 trips to the dump ($44 per trip) in Armand’s Toyota Tacoma with stuff that wasn’t recyclable (fiberglass insulation, sheet rock, 8 layers of roofing materials, etc.).

All gone! We’re going to leave that tile floor there and throw up a shade structure. That’ll be our workshop area when we start doing interior reno on the Main House in May. Hello DIY custom built-ins!

Burn, Mold House. Burn.

This project took 6 days. The ol’ Mold House fought back harder than I thought it would.
What’s all that rubble everywhere, you ask? Well, stay tuned kids. That’s another tale for another day.
